Hi, I'm DeAnna.

For me it all started when my daughter was to have a cesarean birth and made a comment that no one would ever want to see "those" pictures!  In that moment I thought, yes they would and from then on I just wanted to take pictures of babies being born.

I believe every baby's birth is monumental no matter how they arrive earth-side.

I didn’t have pictures of my first baby being born and I always regretted that…I was too shy, or thought it’s a private matter…but the pictures are not for everyone else…they are for you!  I don’t want any mama to have regrets.

I want you to see what I see through my camera, the strength it took for you to birth your baby and the precious moments and details you might otherwise not remember.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved photography.

My love for photography started when I was about 10 years old and I experimented with my first Kodak Instamatic camera. It was a creative outlet that allowed me to express myself without needing words. From that moment on, I have been drawn to a Journalistic approach to photography which allows me to give my clients visually stunning images of fleeting moments in their lives. I believe in watching my clients through my camera lens as they play, live their lives, and engage in exciting life moments.

I like to work behind the scenes to catch those moments that wouldn’t otherwise be remembered, as life’s most special moments are so fleeting.

I have been married to an amazing man for over 30 years who I met in my first year of college. We have been building a family ever since and the proof of our love resulted in our three beautiful children and six wonderful grandchildren. I love hitting those jack pot moments that put a mother in awe and make her say “Wow that is MY child”!

Birth is magical, words are not enough!
